Just recently spotted the Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster Slide and Ramp add on. It makes a great addition to your Zhu Zhu Pet playscape. Have you seen the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Adventure Ball? It is just like the little plastic ball that a real hamster runs around in. Just think how crazy fun it will be seeing your child chasing around their toy hamster in the Zhu Zhu Pet Adventure ball. It was early one Thursday morning and almost a half-dozen people crowded into one aisle at the local Toys R Us in the first few moments after opening seeking for one thing: small, furry hamsters. That’s right they were looking for Zhu Zhu Pet Hamsters. From Squiggles to Num Nums to Pipsqueak or Chunk. It could also have been Scoodles or Nugget or any of the other of Cepia LLC’s Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters that appear to be this year’s “gotta have it” toy for the holidays. Shop for Zhu Zhu Pets
The Zhu Zhu pet hamster are being heaviliy promoted by TV commercials. The Zhu Zhu commercials show the hamsters running across the floor, slidding in tunnels, or cuddling up to their pet owners making purring and cooing sounds. The theme song touts their benefits: “You will love your Zhu Zhu Pets, because they’re so real without the mess.”
Price was there when the store’s doors opened at 10 a.m. with her sister-in-law, Chris VanRegenmorter, to buy the hamsters as Christmas presents. The store had an overnight delivery, and they wanted to get some of the $9.99 hamsters before they were gone.
At this point most stores are limiting the number of hamsters you can buy at one time. I have recently checked Meijer shelves as well as Target and their shelves were bare. The popularity of the critters and their many accessories skyrocketed during the past few months, stunning some retailers.
The hamsters and their accoutrements — which include tunnels, balls, sleeping bags, cars, skateboards and surfboards — move out of stores as soon as they move in. But the furry rodents still can be found on the Web — for a price. A set of the four hamsters, which should retail for about $40, went for $76 on eBay this week, with the price jumping almost $10 in the auction’s final two minutes. Shop for Zhu Zhu Pets
